When you think of white supremacy or the suspected white supremacist, we must recognize the not too long ago laid dormant. But now with the rise of this man called Trump they have raised their ugly heads coming out like their forefather – proud and bold. Black people understand that this is the American way! We have seen terrorist groups like the KKK go into hiding or out of site for a while, but the always emerge. Now they call it alt-right to which Trump has become the face of it and this I suspect is his Secret Cabal.
The GOP has never been a friend to any group of people but white people to which some would say it’s a white blight or supporter of a White Nationalist Ethnostate, which is a Grim Realization That Racists will infect American politics well beyond this age of Trump. People of this ilk are sounding off on the concept of a Southern ethnostate. Make American white again is the battle cry. It has always struck me as obvious: where do these people actually live? If we were going to create an “ethnostate” for ourselves, just where would we do this? They call it Dixie, but the fact is its anywhere south of Canada!
White Southerners, “Anglo-Celts,” “Americans,” Crackers, Cavaliers, “White people,” “the WASP nest of rednecks, hillbillies, peckerwoods, bigots, racist, etc. – these terms all refer to the same distinct Southern tribe of White people – have come out boldly to proclaim that they will be violent if Trump loses. They call themselves patriots, but in reality, they are terrorists.
I would describe the Republican nominee as a “gateway drug” to white nationalism. All of this distasteful group of bigots are growing and using Trump’s momentum to rise again. Trump had gone beyond playing footsie with the alt right. He has embraced it fashionable to be openly racist. Some have said the alt-right as an exhibition of political rarities – not true – they are the silent majority.
Mainstream white America tells the world there are only a few of these souls rattling cages but oh no there is a lot more. But the risk of claiming they exist is an admission of the system of white supremacy or should be clear. According to a study conducted by an assistant professor of public policy at George Mason University, 65 percent of white Americans would consider supporting a nativist, xenophobic party, recently we saw the Tea Party remember. These people of this toxic movement are convinced that they are serious in their desire to crack open a hateful new space in the system.
The Trump campaign and Trump himself have ushered in the alt-right’s fusion of musty racist dogma, and millennial troll power has given it a political influence far beyond that of tobacco-stained Klansmen and swastika-bedecked skinheads. Now, from operatives in D.C. to wannabe politicians in the heartland to trolls lurking in online grottoes around the world, its would-be leaders are trying to take the malignant energy that has coursed through conservative circles this election and transform it into something lasting.
Trump is dangerous for America and dare I say he is perilous for anyone non-white. The things this guy could do would make Hitler blush and don’t rule out an attempt to reinstitute slavery for black people! And that’s my thought provoking perspective…
