This post is written to pay homage to the greatest president in my lifetime. Over the years, each Republican President told us they would save America and do for the American people this or that – they didn’t. They only gave us false illusions and ethical issues. One GOP president resigned, another came up with a scam called “trickle down economics,” and then there were the Bush’s! White folk seemed not to have a problem with these guys; all were war mongers and one nearly bankrupt the country. Now, we have a Trump who seems to be shaping up to be a disaster; as well as the leader of the so-called “Birthier Movement.”
President Obama is the first African American to be elected President of the United States, a man who won a Nobel Peace Prize, a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School where he was president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School while serving three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate. More importantly, there has not been a hint of any ethics violation or public disgrace.
The GOP operatives did not seek to better the nation or improve the lives of the American people they were elected to serve. Instead, all of their efforts were intentionally dedicated to obstruction blocking anything and everything that President Obama would propose. The entire Republican Party would devote itself to trying it’s very best to cause President Obama to fail. Surely, un-American!
President Obama and his family have been stiller examples of style and grace while the next First Lady has nude photos all over the internet. President Obama opened relations with Cuba, established the Affordable Healthcare, and killed Osama bin Laden; all of this in light persistent obstruction to his policies and bigotry because of his race.
Mr. President America will miss you, your lovely family, and I thank you for representing and doing the great job you have done. God bless you and your fine family! And that is my thought provoking perspective…
