I don’t offer any sympathy or show any remorse for the death of the GOP! For sixty years, black America has waited for this death. Having said that we can thank Trump! He embodies all of what white privilege has been granted by white supremacy; the deepest cruelest feelings of what is in the hearts of all white people. If not it would not have taken four hundred years to make all men free! They God works in mysterious ways, Trump the supreme bigot has done us all a huge blessing. Don’t hang your heads – REJOICE! And that’s my thought provoking perspective…

I will readily admit that I think Trump is a con man and a good one. The great debate last night showed the world he is is gleefully unprepared! This picture says it all, except it insults clowns!
In light of the nearly weekly killings at the hands of the police law speaks to the intensifying civil strife over the recent killings of unarmed black men and boys, many Americans are wondering, “What’s wrong with our police?” First, maybe we should take the police off of this pedestal that they are honorable and somehow decent. We know that they often lie!
They create a narrative to fit the truth as they want it to be; in the cases of police killings, their objective is to be exonerated of the crime. If you have ever had an encounter, even a traffic ticket, you know this is true!
Let’s look at the latest two killings; one situation show’s how it should be done, and the other shows the usual police tactic. In fact, what we see in North Carolina seems as if they are using Bull Connors playbook! For example, the first statement from the police seems to be unequivocal that the man they shot did have a gun. However, there was none shown in the video; days later, the tone has changed to something less affirmative. We also know the police play loose with facts and that there are instances where they have planted weapons after the fact. What technology has done is remove the veil of secrecy!
Let’s go back in time and understand the police were formed to be slave catchers. Therefore, they have never been honest when it comes to black people. In this case, the family and the police stories are vastly different views of what they saw on the video. This means it is now up to the police, in secret, to police themselves, and we know what the outcome is going to be; if history serves as proof. So this is what will happen, they will pay the family a sum of money to forget this happened.
In the Oklahoma case, there are those who are shocked that a white woman would shoot and kill someone in this senseless manner. Let us recall that white women were the most dangerous of all in the race. History has shown that they killed babies that her husband fathered with slave women, fed babies to alligators, seen cheering at lynching holding their children, and scream rape when they are in a compromising position.
Going back to the video’s, they have created a narrative that asked “do you believe us or your lying eyes” going back to Rodney King. The police nearly beat this man to death, and they said we did not see what we saw. When you watch the talking heads on television, they say the videos are not enough evidence to show that was wrong downing. Let me add, the color of the cop does not matter because “all they see is blue”.
We do know that the police, fact, that police forces have been infiltrated and run by white supremacy; so why then is it unreasonable to think there policies are not rooted in this true today! And that’s my thought provoking perspective…
The unapologetic disgrace of The Donald is in no way an accident or unintended; it is the underlying feeling and belief of most of white America. I am not surprised because I have seen Jim Crow, bigotry, and know the smile they put forth when bigotry in present. I am not inclined to support either of these current candidates because “not matter who is elected, you will get no more than what you always got.” However, this guy Trump has taken the vale off of what was subtle bigotry in ways unseen for a half a century!
The American System NEVER was about fairness and equality for people of color. You can look at the founding documents the slave owners wrote that say’s “all men are created equal” for example as evidence. It is the biggest lie ever told, and they know it. The system is all about money, and this con man is only taking advantage of that for his benefit! For me to say that this guy is dangerous is being too polite and kind. From the day black folks were dragged onto the shore of America; they have had one purpose, which was to use and profit off black people. It is the American way and the main creed of white supremacy.
Trump has done everything but resurrected Martin Luther King in his speeches. More importantly, he has called the First Black President a Nigger by way of calling him in code “other”! Let’s be clear he is a fraud, a liar, and a con man. I think his opponent got it right when she said his followers are a “Basket of Deplorables” when him at the head of the group. I have always found the disease of bigotry deplorable, but this guy has taken it to a whole nother level. Straight out of the KKK playbook!
I would suggest that you look at the people who support him very carefully because it says a lot about them; a racist is in your mists. And that’s my thought provoking perspective…

There have been many unthinkable travesties inflicted on Black people in this place the slaves called “merica.” We know about the lynchings, rapes, and thefts that were all too common and the many atrocities protected by law. In fact, because these horrors were done under cover of law they were useful tools to suppress the people of the stolen tribes of Africa. It continues today with the countless police killings. Not many people are aware of just how extreme and the lengths these people went to use some of these extreme forms of brutality. For example, what happened in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1921 where the government bombed and destroyed an entire black community.
They bombed Tulsa in 1921, the same thing was done to a black community in modern times. There was a radical organization called MOVE in West Philadelphia; there was a group originally called the Christian Movement for Life, founded in 1972. Its founder, John Africa, was functionally illiterate, or so they say, dictated a document called The Guideline to Donald Glassey, a social worker from the University of Pennsylvania. Africa and his contemporaries, mostly African American followers, wore their hair in dreadlocks. They advocated a radical form of green politics and a return to a hunter-gatherer society while stating their opposition to science, medicine, and technology.
As John Africa himself had done, his devotees also changed their surnames to Africa to show reverence to the continent, which they regarded as their mother continent. John Africa’s MOVE members lived in a commune in a house owned by Glassey in the Powelton Village section of West Philadelphia. They staged bullhorn-amplified, profanity-laced demonstrations against institutions that opposed morally, such as zoos (MOVE had strong views on animal rights) and speakers whose views they opposed. MOVE activities drew scrutiny from law enforcement authorities because of complaints from neighbors and the community.
As tensions grew, on August 8, 1978, a deadly end came to an almost year-long standoff with police over a court order requiring MOVE to vacate their Powelton Village house. When police attempted entry, shooting erupted and Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) Officer James J. Ramp was killed by a shot to the back of the head. MOVE representatives claimed that he was facing the house at the time and denied any responsibility for his death. Seven other police officers, five firefighters, three MOVE members, and three bystanders were also injured. Nine MOVE members were each sentenced to a maximum of 100 years in prison for third-degree murder for Ramp’s killing. Seven of the nine first became eligible for parole in the spring of 2008 – all were denied.
In 1981, MOVE relocated to a row house at 6221 Osage Avenue in the Cobbs Creek area of West Philadelphia. Neighbors had complained for years that MOVE members were broadcasting political messages by bullhorn at all hours and about the health hazards created by piles of compost. On May 13, 1985, after the complaints as well as indictments for numerous MOVE members for crimes ranging from parole violations, contempt of court, illegal possession of firearms, and making terrorist threats, the PPD attempted to clear the building and arrest the indicted MOVE members.
This led to an armed standoff with police, who lobbed tear gas canisters at the building. MOVE members fired at the police, who returned fire with automatic weapons. PPD Commissioner George Sambor then ordered that the compound be bombed from a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter. PPD Lt. Frank Powell proceeded to drop two one-pound bombs made of FBI supplied water gel explosive, a dynamite substitute, targeting a fortified, bunker-like cubicle on the roof of the house.
The resulting explosions ignited a massive blaze that eventually destroyed approximately 65 nearby houses. The firefighters, who had earlier deluge-hosed the MOVE members in a failed attempt to evict them from the building, stood by and watched the inferno caused after the military grade C-4 bomb engulfed the first house, refusing to intervene because they had been given orders to let the fire burn. Officials feared that MOVE would shoot at the firefighters as they had done before. Eleven people (John Africa, five other adults, and five children) died in the resulting fire. Ramona Africa, one of the two survivors, stated that police fired at those trying to escape the burning house while the police stated that MOVE members had been firing at police.
Mayor W. Wilson Goode a black mayor who was complicit soon appointed an investigative commission called the PSIC (aka MOVE Commission), which issued its report on March 6, 1986. The report denounced the actions of the city government, stating that “Dropping a bomb on an occupied row house was unconscionable.” No one from the city government was charged criminally.
In 1996, a federal jury ordered the city to pay a $1.5 million civil suit judgment to survivor Ramona Africa and relatives of two people killed in the bombing. The jury found that the city used excessive force and violated the member’s constitutional protections against unreasonable search and seizure. Philadelphia was given the sobriquet “The City that Bombed Itself.”
Ramona Africa, the lone survivor, acts as a spokesperson for the group and has given numerous talks at leftist events throughout the US and in other countries. Mumia Abu-Jamal, convicted of the 1981 murder of police officer Daniel Faulkner, was closely involved with MOVE. MOVE continues to advocate for Abu-Jamal’s release as well as that of imprisoned MOVE members, whom the group regarded as a political prisoner.
The problem as I see it was not that they bombed a black community. They have done things like this before and worst, but that it was ordered by a black mayor. Never forget what they think of black people’s lives! And that’s my thought provoking perspective…
“Let The Fire Burn” Full Documentary
Today if you look at the election process you will clearly see White Supremacy on full display. The Donald exhibits all of the characteristics. His main claim is that “the system if rigged” when in fact he has gotten and taken advantage of privilege at every step and stage of his life. I was talking to a white friend a few days ago, and trying to impress upon me how fortunate “your people” are to live free in America, which is now a post-racial society and the usual proof bigots give is that we have a black president. Another old standby came from her lips; “we have problems, but it’s not as bad as it was”. She has no sense that it was her people who made it bad in the first place. To say that I was shocked in an understatement!
I sat back and enjoyed the foolishness of her thoughts, which was rooted in what they hold so dear – “privilege”! Then, of course, she tried to play the race card using Ben Carson to show as some kind of proof. I continued to hear the usual; you people should be proud to be an American. I guess she thought I was buying this nonsense, so she brought up the Donald. OMG!
She went on to quote Dr. Woodson saying that “Regardless of what we are taught history shows that it does not matter who is in power… those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they did in the beginning.” I could not see how this proved her point, but it was entertaining. My sense was that this meant they are taking their country back!
It amazed me that someone who smiled in my face would present me with this conclusion, particularly, when you look at the state of race relations in America today on every level. Black people and people of color are at the top of every negative category across the board; be it unemployment, healthcare, housing, education, you name it. She is trying to educate me, say things have changed, and that I should support Trump.
As she rambled, she must have begun to realize she sounded more and more like someone from “Masters Time.” She started to realize that I was not buying her argument at all. So she reached deep and went Martin Luther King saying he would support Trump. Now the militant in me came forward. I remained her that Dr. King’s legacy her been reduced and sanitized down to four words – “I have a dream”. She seemed to know nothing about COINTELPRO, the lynchings, murders, slavery or that her people done for centuries.
I know she thought, like most, that her evidence that there is no longer any racism sounded good, but the reality is not much has changed. Yes, we do have a “Black Face” in the White House, and I am glad to have lived long enough to have witnessed this phenomenal event. Especially when no one living or dead would have ever thought that a black president would ever live in the White House as president. Nonetheless, I took the opportunity to remind her of what Carter G. Woodson said in 1933 in his still relevant novel “The Mis-Education of the Negro:
“History shows that it does not matter who is in power… those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they did in the beginning.” In the same novel, he also reminded us that “if you control what a man is thinking you don’t have to worry about what he thinks”.
So it was time for the smackdown and let her know that she make as about much sense as the Donald – nothing has changed. I can recall in my lifetime where the “N-Word” was the last thing a black man or woman, heard before being lynched. I remember vividly the KKK terrorizing black communities burning down houses and bombings churches under the protection of law; this is also to include murder with no justice for the crime. These cowards held down and raped black women for amusement.
They, society, white people, the Republican and Tea Party is not that much different than the old Citizens Counsels. Today, the police still act in many ways under a similar code; they can “Stop and Frisk” you at their pleasure, beat and brutalize, and kill with no repercussions. The Prison Industrial Complex where you find “Just Us” is big business filled with 21st Century Slaves trade on the Stock Market; just like slaves were back in the day. Yet, Stand Your Ground is nothing more than vigilante justice for people who reflect her image.
African Americans have been here since August of the year 1619, and they are still debating whether or not we can vote. Just for clarity, every so many years that portion of the Voting Rights Act must be reauthorized and signed into law, and in the span of time between re-authorization they try every trick imaginable to suppress the vote. Then she stopped me to say that the Constitution protects all Americans, which I suppose was her trump card. So I quickly reminded her that it still says people of color are you viewed as – 3/5 human.
I suggested to her that she might want to be rational and return to earth and stop using the meaningless and false impressions because we know better! There’s no such thing as “post-racial” it is just racism. Just before she stormed off; I reminded her that I knew Jim Crow and his son, James Crow Jr. Esq. continues the mission of his father in ways more clever and wicked than his namesake. And that’s my Thought Provoking Perspective…
